Kouwenhoven Irvine weaves in and out of urban Japan and its meticulously curated gardens documenting her understanding of the Japanese term Mono No Aware - translated as: precarious beauty, fleeting moments in time.

Click the photos below to see details about sizes, prices, and print information. Choose your print size and click 'Purchase.' You will then go to checkout to enter your delivery address and payment details.

Shipping costs will be calculated when you enter your address. You may see two choices, like North Island Shipping or South Island Shipping. Please choose the correct one.

Photographed on a Mamiya 6 with Portra 400, 6x6 film, colour processed, scanned at the highest resolution with a Hasselblad Imacon, printed on archival 100% semi gloss cotton rag with archival inkjet inks.
Our printer is in Auckland, NZ.
Available in four sizes and printed to order:
250 x 250 mm, edition of 12.
500 x 500 mm, edition of 5.
750 x 750 mm, edition of 4 with 1 A/P.
1000 x 1000 mm, original of 3 with 1 A/P. -
Each print includes a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity. If you want the signature and number on the print, please note it with your order. This may incur an extra shipping cost, as the print will be sent to the artist for signing before being sent to you.

Keep the print in the tube until you're ready to frame it. We can send it directly to your framer; just include their address. Framing can also be arranged for you.
Please note that colors on your screen may look different in the printed photo. If you purchase two prints, you'll be charged shipping twice. We will refund the second shipping charge when we can due to a technical issue with our platform.
